FORMATTING
A professionally formatted book begins long before the manuscript is converted to an EPUB or print PDF. Every manuscript—fiction or nonfiction—goes through a careful preparation process to remove hidden formatting issues, correct inconsistencies, establish proper styles, and ensure the file is structurally sound. Once the manuscript is clean and properly prepared, we use professional publishing software to create polished files that meet the requirements of major book retailers.
Final files may include:
Fiction — $199 Professional formatting for novels of any length, including manuscript preparation, chapter styling, front and back matter, EPUB files, and print-ready interior PDFs. Fiction with Special Formatting — $249 For novels requiring images or more complex design elements, such as letters, journal entries, text messages, scene-specific typography, or other specialized formatting. Nonfiction — $299 For text-based nonfiction requiring additional structural formatting, including headings, subheadings, lists, sections, and other nonfiction elements, but without extensive images, charts, or complex page design. Complex Nonfiction — $499 For books containing numerous images, charts, tables, callouts, exercises, specialized text treatments, or extensive custom formatting. Because these projects vary considerably in complexity, final pricing may depend on the manuscript. What You Receive: Your manuscript isn't simply converted—it is prepared, professionally formatted, and publication-ready. The result is a clean, polished book designed to look professional in both ebook and print formats and ready for upload to today's major publishing platforms. |
EDITING
Whether your manuscript needs a thorough edit or simply one final set of eyes before publication, we offer editing services designed to help make your book as polished, engaging, and publication-ready as possible.
Full Content Editing goes beyond correcting spelling, punctuation, and grammar. We review your manuscript with both the reader and the editor in mind, looking at the bigger picture as well as the details. Depending on the manuscript, this may include:
Instead of trying to figure out the length of your manuscript based on page count, we use a simple $0.01 per word. Ex: 80,000 words — $800 100,000 words — $1,000 Minimum editing fee: $200, regardless of manuscript length. Final Proofreading & Beta Read — $200* Already had your manuscript professionally edited and just want one final set of eyes on it before publishing? If your manuscript is already in excellent condition and doesn't require substantial editing, we'll read the complete manuscript, correct minor errors we find, watch for anything that may have slipped through previous edits, and provide feedback from a reader's perspective. And if we genuinely love your book, we may even provide a review you can use to help promote it. The $200 flat rate applies to manuscripts requiring only minor corrections and a final polish. If we determine that the manuscript needs more extensive editing, we'll let you know before proceeding and provide an editing quote. |

PUBLISHING
Or, submit your manuscript for publishing consideration, and we may do everything for you—from editing and formatting to publication and distribution. We are not a vanity publisher. If we love your manuscript and believe it’s a good fit for us, there are no upfront publishing costs to you. We do not pay advances; instead, we work under an Author Profit Participation Agreement, sharing in the book’s success. Once published, you simply receive your share of the profits. Submission Page
