Hello and Happy Fall, my Friends! Okay, it doesn’t feel like fall yet here in SW Florida; we don’t see relief from the heat and humidity (and hurricanes, ugh) until late October. But I’m getting a reprieve, and it’s going to be in the very location where I set CHANGING DESTINY. I love, love, love the Portsmouth/Newmarket area of New Hampshire (northeast corner of the state). I’m super excited to see and feel early fall there, spend time with my aunt, and also spend some time in Boston with my college-aged daughter—her first time to the city! My sister is also going to join me for a few days in Portsmouth, so it’s all about fall and family on this trip. I’m super excited. (Okay, to be honest, not about the flying part with all of the chaos that seems to be afoot lately.) I’ll post pictures of the trip and hopefully some beautiful leaves changing on my social media accounts. (posted below) Speaking of CHANGING DESTINY ... It is a story about dreams giving you a peek at what your destiny is and reality giving you a totally different picture. I love the idea that we can change our fate (what really happens) to manifest our destiny (our soul’s goal). Of course, going back in time is probably not in the cards for us mere humans, as it ends up being for Wendy—when forces beyond her control step in and help out. But even with those forces, changing destiny doesn’t come easy! If it did, it’d be a very short book! The story encompasses the idea of taking risks to do what’s right, and the man she’s supposed to be with is indeed in a very tricky situation. I’ve been busy with my agenting persona, as well as working on adapting UNFORGIVABLE into a screenplay, but I’ve been working on a new book that I hope to release one of these days. This one is a bit more gothic in tone, set in Louisiana, with some interesting family dynamics and another tale of thwarted destiny. Because that’s what life does—and to be honest, what we do to ourselves sometimes as well. I want my stories to illustrate that no matter what happens and has happened in your life, you can shift your path back on track at any time. You can overcome your baggage and vulnerabilities and hardships to create a beautiful life. Life is a journey, not a destination, and I hope to add some entertainment and enlightenment to your journey with my stories. Enjoy your fall!
